Areas of Competition​

​INTERVIEW

• Delegates participate in a panel  interview with 3–5 judges. The interview begins with a self-introduction (no longer than 30 seconds) and includes questions based on the delegate’s fact sheet and current events. Topics can range from global issues to personal platforms.

• Attire: Dressy, conservative attire is recommended. The goal is to present a professional, polished look rather than a sexy one.

• Scoring: The interview accounts for 40% of the total score. The judges’ decisions are final.

 

WHAT’S YOUR PLUS - OUTFIT OF CHOICE

• Delegates showcase their unique “Plus” on stage in a brief speech while modeling an outfit that represents their individuality. 

• Attire: Outfits should align with the delegate’s chosen theme and include formal footwear such as heels, sandals, or mules. Creativity is encouraged.

• Scoring: This category accounts for 30% of the total score.

 

EVENING GOWN

• Delegates wear floor-length gowns, although high-low hemlines are allowed.  

• Scoring: The evening gown category accounts for 30% of the total score.
